I'm a regular follower of other quilters online and this very handy Picnic Rug, courtesy of The Old Button has popped up on my radar. Very much like patchwork of old who re-use or recycle old and found charity fabrics, this is quite an easy design to work with and perfect for total beginners. At this time of year, the weather is starting to improve and what better way to enjoy than taking the family outside to enjoy the sunshine and have a picnic. Have a great weekend everyone!

Welcome to my corner of the Sewing Booth!I've been wanting to share a little about where I come from, so here goes. Are you sitting comfortably? I love the village in which I call home, a small bungalow filled with allsorts of sewing. I especially love quilting and the country I feel so passionate about Scotland, our land and beautiful scenery.
I used to own a Millshop in the town of Paisley and ran classes and workshops from John Lewis, Glasgow! I do miss my regular customers some of whom used to share some amazing stories and ideas all craft related, and all the excitement of new products and techniques. I still get to pass on those skills that I enjoy so much with a local group that meets up regularly at Quarriers Village, so I don't miss out on my 'fix' as often! As soon as I finish more of my W.I.P's, I'll get to share many more projects with you. J x |
